the last song

After reading the last song I felt like a whole new world had opened up. One that was more made up of family and emotions then the material things that fill our reality. This book is so moving... it changed my life.

I was half was through the book when I asked if it was worth continuing. I have never not finished a book, and it wasn't as if I wasn't going to finish this one, I was just either going to put it off until after I was caught up and ahead of my school work or if I was going to sit and get lost in the story. With my better judgment I continued onto the next chapter and kept going. I went to school early so that I could have a quite place to sit and read the many pages. I often stayed up hours past I should to read what happens next. In the end, this was a story of rebellion and mistrust, and turned out to be a moving novel about family, love, and the mystery of summer bliss. This amazing book made me look at the world with a new view and put my priorities in order. Nicholas Sparks once again writes a story so touching that it will change the lives of everyone who reads it.
